Connecting Seeka to Humanitix

This set up is fast and easy and can be done by in minutes.

Updated over a week ago

For Humanitix hosts, it is recommended that you connect Seeka anywhere you collect data, such as your ticketing outlet, official website, and pre-registration platforms.

Seeka is designed to be 'no-code' for the majority of installation methods, so you don't need to be nerd level 9 to install - you just need the right access.

Connect to Humantix

Navigate to account > advanced > integrations via the top menu bar

  1. Click on default tracking IDs

  2. Click on Enable Seeka

6. Enter your Seeka details, including Organisation ID, Brand ID and Instance ID.

To find your Seeka connection details:

  1. Log in to your Seeka account

  2. In the left-hand menu, click apps

  3. Search Humanitix

  4. Click Connect

  5. Copy the relevant details

Connecting data destinations

A data destination in Seeka is somewhere you would like to send data to, such as Meta™ Ads, Tiktok™ Ads or Google Analytics 4™.

The great news is that you only have to connect your destinations once. Then, anywhere you install Seeka, it will automatically send that sweet, rich data to your connected destinations.

Please take a look at our destination set-up guides here.

Setting up Events

Any events that fire anywhere with your ticketing partner are automated with no additional configuration required!

Official websites and select pre-reg platforms will require manual event setup, as only the 'View Page' event is automatically set up.

The great news is that Seeka has an Express Setup Tool for super-fast generation of web events, including triggering web events from elements such as:

  • Sign-up Forms

  • Buttons

  • Specific Pages

The Express setup tool is one of the highlights of the Seeka Product, and we encourage you to check the detailed article on it HERE.

Connecting external websites

Connecting your external websites to Seeka is highly recommended for attribution and data collection. Seeka can be installed almost everywhere, and if we don't support a source yet, please let us know, and we'll get it done.

We support external sources in a variety of ways in including:

  • Official apps, which you can find in the apps section of Seeka

  • A Script tag can be placed in the header code of most platforms.

Cross Domain Tracking

After you have connected your additional sites, it is important that you set up cross-domain tracking in Seeka.

  1. Navigate to settings in Seeka

  2. Select domains from the menu

  3. Select tracking from the middle menu

  4. Click the add rule button

  5. Set your rules to your preference.

  6. When source domain = where you are tracking from. Example Official site URL

  7. And link = The URL of where you are tracking to. Example: ticketing outlet URL

  8. With = Gives you the option to change whether the UTMS someone arrives with can persist to the second destination or not. You should select UTMs from the browser session to ensure ads landing on your page can be attributed to the next destination.

Example: You run ads on your official website, and then a user clicks to your ticketing provider to buy a ticket.

Note: Cross-domain tracking cannot work if the link in the button is wrapped in a link shortener like Bitly.
