Setting Automatic Tracking Parameters for Seeka
Enabling automatic URL parameters allows Seeka to instantly resolve your Klaviyo profiles when users click a link and are directed to a website with Seeka installed. This feature significantly improves data quality and event match quality for your top-of-funnel events.
Important Note: This feature is only available to users who have enabled the "Allow Seeka to use the external ID" checkbox when connecting Klaviyo to Seeka.
Step-by-Step Guide to Set Up Automatic Tracking Parameters
Log in to your Klaviyo account
Click on "Settings" in the bottom left corner of the dashboard
Select "Other" from the settings menu
Click on "UTM Tracking"
Click the "Add UTM Parameter" button
In the parameter field, enter "skpid"
For both columns, select "external id" from the dropdown menus
Ensure "automatically add UTM Parameters to link" switch in ON.
Click "Save" to apply your changes
