How to check if a pixel is already installed on your website 🧐
How to check if a pixel is already installed on your website 🧐

We go deep nerd with you on how identify if a pixel or other tracking is installed on page.

Updated over a year ago

Why are we checking this before installing Seeka?

If the same pixel that Seeka is sending data to as a 'source' is also installed independently of Seeka the following conflicts will most likely occur:

  • The double firing of events

  • Platform errors

  • A decline in campaign performance

  • A decline in event match quality

  • Incorrect attribution

There is ZERO benefit to having a pixel installed via another method while using Seeka.
